The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection
IBPS conducts national level exams every year to recruit candidates for different posts of probationary officer, specialist officer, clerking and regional rural banks. Through IBPS, a candidate can get a job in any public sector banks except SBI because SBI has its own examination process. IBPS exams are considered moderate to tough. This is national level recruitment so individuals from all over India can apply and find their way to achieve their goals. The qualification process is quite similar to SBI, for IBPS SO and PO, prelims, mains and personal interview, for clerk profiled exams, there is no personal interview round. IBPS has been a popular choice between young candidates because of a wide range of posts (more posts than SBI) and opportunities to grow within the bank system.
Reserve Bank of India exams
One of the most prestigious exams in India. Candidates never take it easy and they have to work real hard for RBI exams. RBI is the center of all major economic policies and guidelines for public and private sector banks of India. RBI conducts exams like RBI grade B, RBI grade C and RBI office assistant. RBI grade B and grade C have moderate level difficult exams which require every candidate to prepare hard and go through prelims, mains and personal interview qualification process. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development
Primarily known as NABARD is another recruiting banking organization in India. Mainly focusing on agricultural and rural banks, NABARD conducts yearly exams to recruit candidates for posts grade A and B, managerial and assistant managerial respectively. NABARD assistant exams are conducted to recruit candidates for clerking jobs. Grade A and grade B exams have three stages of qualification process, phase one and two are online written exams and phase three is a personal interview round. For clerking jobs, there are prelims and mains exams but no interview round. NABARD exams are considered moderate to tough because of their separate importance.
